SInce the old days of Floridia Gullien has wanted Pierre on his roster. Why wouldn't any team want Pierre? Pierre is an ideal top of the line up hitter. Pierre is always a threat to run when on, and he doesn't strike out too much.

Jim Thome will no longer be the DH in Chicago. He will be trying to get to 600 home runs in Minnasota since the White Sox decide to let him go. Guillen didn't think he could get Thome enough at bats that is why he was let go. Guillen wants to use the postion to rotate and rest players.

Rios better rebound if Chicago wants a playoff spot. The White Sox are spending 60 millon on him after claiming him off waivers. Rios' first 41 games with the club could not have been worse. What happened? I think when he came to Chi-town he just tried to be the hero instead of just playing his game.
Prediction: The White Sox will bounce back form last year and be in the chase all season. They are the favorate to win and i will agree. With Jim Thome gone their offense looks less powerful but i think stronger. Juan Pierre was a great addition and will be a major help. Still they need a younger LF. AL Central Champs. 93-69 record.
