NL West

Los Angeles Dodgers- The Dodgers have found their core guys. Guys of which came from their farm system in 2006. All 5 of the core guys have been to the postseason with L.A. 3 times and haven't got past round 2. Getting past that round in 2011 they will need power and timely hitting, somethng they were not known for in 2010. Dodgers need Kemp and Ethier to step up if they want the 2011 NL Pennant.
Colorado Rockies- Experiance returns for the Rockies in 2011. Gonzalez,Tulowitzki, and Fowler all return to the lineup. All three are solid fielders. Colorado to me is one if not the fastest team in the majors this year. CarGo had his best year of his 3 year career. 2011 will have to be the same for him in order for a Rockies playoff berth.
San Francisco Giants: A team, like the Phillies, are carried by pitching. Many people may disagree but the bats only came alive in 2010 once the pitching got them where they needed to be. Good pitching beats good hitting anyday of the week, so expect alot of 1-0 wins and loses for the G men this year.
San Diego Padres- Losing Adrian Gonzalez is a hugh blow to the Padres lineup. Orlando Hudson should help fill that void with a little help from new firstbaseman Brad Hawpe. Hawpe has been following a Pat Burrell type career path. San Diego is hoping, like Burrell, he can turn his career around being back in the NL after his stint of not hitting in Tampa. San Diego is hoping this deal works out as well as the 2009 Jake Peavy deal did. The guy San Diego got in 2009 is their number two starter Clayton Richard. Aaron Harang was signed to replace Jon Garland. I still think there is a good pitcher in Harang.
Arizona Diamondbacks- The Diamondbacks did what they set out to do in the offseason. Bullpen got rebuilt, bench got power, starting pitching was added. Mark Reynolds is out of Arizona. He may strikeout alot, but he has helped Arizona win in past years. Will this team finally contend in 2011?
Standings
Giants 96-66
Rockies 93-68 2.5 Games Back
Dodgers 78-85 18.5 Games Back
Padres 71-91 25 Games Back
Diamondbacks 66-96 30 Games Back
