Those fightin Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies did it again with another come back win. If you are a true Phillies fan and you were watching the game, then you were probably sitting on the edge of your seat like I was at the top of the 9th inning. What a game!
It was 1-0 with the Phils on top. Jamie Moyer was pitching a great game, but one little slip up and suddenly it's 2-1 with the Braves taking the lead. The Phils just couldn't get a run in even when the bases were loaded; Atlanta made a skillful double play to end things there. But then in the 9th, when it looks like this will be a loss for the Phils, things start happening. What appears to be the game ending fly ball and should be an easy catch, is dropped on an error and the Phils tie things up. Now it's 2-2 and the Braves are held at 2 so the game goes into the 10th inning. This guy for the Phillies pinch hits that I can't even remember seeing before he's been on the DL so long and hits a double to start things off. Shane Victorino gets a triple!! Utley finally gets his first hit for the night and the fightin Phillies score two more runs. So now it's the bottom of the 10th with the Braves starting to get things going and are on their way to tying things up again or at least it looked that way. Shane Victorino stopped that from happening, saving the game for the Phils with an incredible play from center field throwing a straight shot perfect cannon throw to Coste. He catches it and makes the tag in literally a fraction of a second for out number 3. The Phils win this heart pounding game 4-3.
To tell you the truth, things were so exciting that I may have gotten some things out of sequence, but hey, like I said, it was heart pounding and I was on the edge of my seat towards the end. The important thing is those things did happen and the Phillies did win. This was the kind of game you want to be at when it's your team that wins. I strongly recommend baseball fans, especially Philly fans, to check out highlights that they may show on sports channels. If you saw the game you know what I"m talking about. Let's just say I'm so glad we didn't rent a movie.
Please tune in again for future Philly's talk.
