Welcome back to the Zoo

Greetings from the first state - Delaware!
Many things have happened since my last post, moons ago, and time certainly doesn't stand still. During my absence, I have vacationed in Ocean City, Maryland, and traveled to my homeland of Williamsport, Pennsylvania during the annual Little League World Series. The 2008 Olympics have come and gone as the world witnessed records being made and some dreams shattered. The Presidential race in the USA continued to grab everyones attention with Obami selecting his running mate as the election grows closer. American football season got underway with pre-season match-ups that draw crowds similiar in size to the games that count. Then There's baseball. Sweet, end-of-August Major League Baseball.
A sport with an eternal like season in the month of April, with highs, lows, slumps, some wins, some losses, is now nearing the end. If you are a fan of one of the teams fighting for first place, then you understand the thrill of the game and what is meant by the statement, "every game counts." In the National League East, the race is close between the Phillies and the Mets, and it's getting good....real good.
Now that I'm "active" again, I plan to report on some of the topics or places mentioned above, and of course, Phillies Baseball.
Please check in and feel free to comment.
